BRIDGES
The 4th grade Seminar class has been researching and investigating Bridges. They research information about basic bridge types and try to build a bridge to hold a "load" of pennies.

The fourth grade Seminar students are discovering city planning! First, Agrarian Settlement Plans were developed along with a town history of commercial, residential, and institutional structures. There was a lot of green space and the town plans even had a mill.
These same plans then developed into Industrial Settlements with factories, suburban developments, and a downtown city area. What happens to the green space? Ask our students about their challenge.
