Haverford Middle School
I've done some recent research for a training session and was amazed to find that the internet was not available to home users before 1992!
17 years!
I certainly remember the days pre-internet, pre-computer, pre... information! For the past 12 years I've spent every day learning about computers, applications, peripherals... still I find myself amazed at the difference technology has made in our lives. From my 77 year old mother who insisted on getting a computer so she could be online with her grandchildren, to the students who amazed me with their own expertise; every day is a new experience and another wonder to discover.
Today's student is more than just tech savvy, they are intuitive to the computer, knowing instinctively where to go and what to click. Traveling the world is truly at the tip of their fingers, the boundaries of their imagination. I am inspired to be a part of their learning experience every day.
